The year 2021 marks the centennial birthday of the Communist Party of China. How to promote the majority of teachers and students to “study party history, understand ideas, do practical work, open a new bureau” is an important subject of party history education in colleges and universities. In the omni-media era, it can be an innovative move to study and educate party history in colleges and universities to give full play to the advantages of journalism and communication and make good use of digital platform.Based on the implementation plan of Party history study and education in Zhejiang University, the author explores the new model of party construction in colleges and universities from the perspective of “four omnimedia” in combination with journalism and communication disciplines.Whole-process media: Dynamic tracking of the new progress of learning Whole-process media refers to the media can timely follow up the report from the beginning to the end of the event, showing the latest developments of the event to readers. In the era of traditional media, it takes a long time for newspapers to track and report events and update them slowly. With the rapid development and wide use of information and communication technology, online websites and digital media such as “Two Micro end” have broken the limitations of newspapers and printing media and become a new platform for real-time information release and dynamic tracking of events. For example, Zhejiang University has set up a special website for party history study and education, with sections such as “work dynamics”, “superior spirit”, “grass-roots style”, “Work briefing”, “Advanced Models”, “red stories” and “learning materials” to update the progress of activities in a timely manner. At the same time, some content on the special website will be updated simultaneously on official wechat and weibo. The use of whole-course media, so that the latest information of party history learning education is constantly transmitted to the majority of teachers and students, the formation of the whole process of learning education model.Holographic media: New experience of learning and education activities Different from traditional paper media, holographic media has diversified and integrated functions, and symbols such as text, image, audio and video can be used comprehensively in the transmission process.Compared with the communication content of a single symbol, the content carried by holographic media is more likely to attract the attention of the audience, stimulate their interest and create a brand new experience for them. For example, the School of Media and International Culture of Zhejiang University presented a collection of essays, a collection of seeking truth, a collection of media pioneers, a promotional video, a series of short video works, and a collection of integrated media works to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC.Among them, anthologies record historical events in the form of pictures and texts, videos activate historical memories in the form of video and sound, and media works present historical scenes in the form of composite symbols.Such holographic media communication provides a new learning and education experience for teachers and students.Full media: A new pattern of Teacher-student co-creation Activities Full media means that everyone can become the disseminator and receiver of information. For colleges and universities, full-staff media breaks the old thinking of teachers’ communication and students’ acceptance, and forms a new pattern of teachers’ and students’ co-creation of communication content. In this regard, the School of Media and International Culture of Zhejiang University planned a series of activities, such as organizing teachers and students to participate in the production of Zhejiang SATELLITE TV’s Party history program, and deeply participating in the whole process of program planning and recording;Selected and sent student Party members to participate in the large-scale media reporting activity of “Centennial Party Branch Strength” held by Zhejiang Daily;Cooperated with the publicity department of the university, organized teachers, students and Party members to participate in the “Online Retrace the Long March road” Relay telling activity of party history stories in 100 colleges and universities held by the Ministry of Education;Recommend teachers, students and Party members to participate in the creation of red films for the centennial of the founding of the Party in the situation and Policy class of the school, and edit and make the centennial struggle of the Communist Party of China from 100 films. The above activities increase students’ opportunities for creative expression and enhance professional and emotional communication between teachers and students.Teachers and students learn from each other in the joint creation, and fully mobilize the enthusiasm of the party history study and education.Full-effect media: a new focus for accurate dissemination of information Full-effect media highlights the characteristics of mass segmentation of media communication, and carries out more accurate and efficient communication activities by positioning the target audience. In order to give full play to the main role of college students in the study and education of party history, it is necessary to fully understand their media usage habits.Targeted selection of users’ favorite media platforms is a new way to achieve accurate communication. For example, station B is popular with young people today.Zhejiang University continues to update the series of videos of “Reading Party History in Action” on its official account of WEBSITE B, in order to accurately reach young students. The school also released short videos on its Douyin and Kuaishou platforms, as well as information about the activities on its official wechat and Weibo accounts. These digital platforms are the full-effect media favored and commonly used by college students, thus accurately disseminating relevant information and significantly improving the effect of party history learning and education. It is a new attempt to integrate party building into discipline construction to explore and construct a new model of party history learning and education in colleges and universities by drawing lessons from the professional concepts of “four all-media”, whole-process media, holographic media, whole-staff media and whole-effect media.Huang
